OVERVIEW
Stoke-on-Trent is being transformed by a mixture of investment from private and public bodies such
as Stoke-on-Trent City Council, the North Staffordshire Regeneration Partnership and Advantage West Midlands.
Over the next 10 years, more than £1 billion will be pumped into the area, creating 8,500 new jobs,
reclaiming 35 hectares of brownfield land, building 3,200 new homes and improving another 4,800

- University Quarter – A £189 million science, media and arts project involving three local educational institutions.
- Public spaces – a multi million pound make-over of the public areas in the shopping and commercial districts of the city centre.
- City Waterside – up to 2,400 new homes alongside refurbished Victorian terrace communities.
